Overview
An event record links a card to a calendar entry on the owner's device. This allows owners to connect their artwork to real-world appointments — an appraisal visit, a scheduled delivery, an exhibition opening, a restoration session, or any other time-specific activity. The event itself (its title, date, and time) lives on the device calendar; the platform stores only the reference needed to identify it.
Event records are part of the back card (vault). They are private to the owner.
Fields

| Device ID | Which device holds the calendar |
Business Rules
Event records are private — only the current owner can see and manage them.
The platform does not store the event's title, date, or time. Those details remain on the device. The platform stores only the reference identifiers needed to locate and sync the event.
Calendar event references are not included in a transfer by default. The sender may explicitly opt in to share them. See Transfer.
Constraints
- Event data is never included in public or social feed queries.
- There is no limit on the number of event references a card can have.
